Our Congregation
At Wood Memorial Christian
Church (Disciples of Christ), we believe that our mission is to share the good
news of Jesus Christ.
We gather as
individuals and as a community to praise God, confess our sins, listen to
God's word for our lives, and be renewed to service.
We strive to make our
congregation a family in Christ, supporting and accepting one another while
welcoming visitors and turning strangers into friends.
We support community
efforts to help those in need, remembering Jesus' words, "As you did to the
least of these, you did it to me".
We participate in
ministries in the United States and around the world that seek peace,
justice and reconciliation for all of God's people.
